All five materiel Condition Code tags are now available in an adhesive backed format. After extensive development and testing with direct oversight and input by the NAVAIR Missile Sentencing Team Lead and NAVSUP Logistics Operation Center (NLOC) Ammo Sentencing Program Manager, Graphic Products has DD Forms 1577-2, 1575, 1574, 1576, and 1577 available in a UV/Chemical resistant, adhesive backed Vinyl label stock.
These materiels comply with MIL-STD-130 and are intended for direct application to Metal, Fiberglass, and Composite type containers and have demonstrated outstanding results. Templates for each of the materiel condition labels are provided via the DLP Software diskette or pre-installed on the Mobile Print Station which is a standard component of the Navy/Marine Corps Starter Kit (see below). The Kit includes everything needed to produce materiel Condition, Light/Empty Box, MDAS Certification and regular Container labels independent of a network PC.
This system is currently being used by numerous Navy/Marine Corps and Civilian DOD Ordnance facilities such as Naval Air Stations, Naval Munition Commands (both in and out of Conus), and various classes of surface ships. A complete listing will be provided upon request. All of these devices meet the requirements of NAVSEA OP 4 8th Revision and NAVSEA OP 4 and NAVSEA OP 5 Volume 1, regarding use of laptops in magazines. The materiels used by this device to make the labels have been reviewed and are in the NAVAIR 01-1A-75 manual, approved for use. The materiels used by this device to make the labels have been reviewed and approved for use and are scheduled to be added in the next revision of the NAVAIR 01-1A-75 Hazmat Manual.
DuraLabel TORO Navy Kit
The DuraLabel TORO Navy Kit includes the DuraLabel TORO printer and all required supplies for making materiel condition labels as well as labels and signs for a wide variety of other applications.
Why are pre-formatted, color-coded labels a better choice?
- HazMat Removal – No more paint cans and labor intensive stencil cutting
- Durable – Withstands severe weather conditions, harsh environments, and rough handling
- Legible – Printed text does not smear, fade, or rub off
- Tough – Industrial Grade adhesive that keeps label firmly affixed to application surface
- Value – Less costly to replace if label is somehow damaged beyond recognition
- Efficient – Spend your energy performing regular duties rather than tracking down lost tags
- Compliance – Labels comply with NAVSUP P-805, AF123-101 and NAVAIR 01-1A-75 Hazmat Manual
