All five Material Condition Code tags are now available in an adhesive backed format. After extensive development and testing with direct oversight and input by the NAVAIR Missile Sentencing Team Lead and Navy Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC) Ammo Sentencing Program Manager, Graphic Products has DD Forms 1577-2, 1575, 1574, 1576, and 1577 available in a UV/Chemical resistant, adhesive backed Vinyl label stock. These materials comply with MIL-STD-130 and are intended for direct application to Metal, Fiberglass, and Composite type containers and have demonstrated outstanding results. Templates for each of the material condition labels are provided via the DLP Software diskette or pre-installed on the Mobile Print Station which is a standard component of the Navy/Marine Corps Starter Kit (see below). The Kit includes everything needed to produce Material Condition, Light/Empty Box, and regular Container labels independent of a network PC. This system is currently being used by numerous Navy/Marine Corps and Civilian DOD Ordnance facilities such as Naval Air Stations, Naval Weapons Stations (both in and out of Conus), on CVNs, L Class Ships, MPS Ships, and Surfaces Ships. A complete listing will be provided upon request. All of these devices meet the requirements of NAVSEA OP 4 8th Revision and NAVSEA OP 5 Volume 1, 7th Revision, Change 2 regarding use of laptops in magazines.
